Cardiff Council propose the submission of a full planning application for the demolition of existing Community Centre and construction of a Proposed Older Persons Independent Living accommodation consisting of 60no. one and two bed self contained apartments, with associated communal facilities and off-street car parking.

In line with the Welsh Government guidelines and prior to the submission of a full planning application, we append the attached statutory Pre-Application Consultation relating to the proposed development. This process seeks to engage all interested parties and allow them to comment on the proposed development prior to the submission of the full application.

Following the conclusion of the consultation period (28 days), we will formally review all the comments received and compile a Pre-Application Consultation Report (PAC Report), which will support the future planning application.

We would also welcome your attendance to the Public Consultation Event which will be held between the hours of 4.00pm and 7.00pm on the 6^th November at St Mellons Hub, adjacent to the application site. The informal event aims to allow interested parties to view the proposed plans and understand the proposal in more detail. Several members of the development team will be available at the event to provide advice, answer any of your queries and record formal comments.
